Virtual Reality Adventure

Every world hides 12 glowing gems, each marked by a tall beam of light, plus one golden legendary relic. The compass at the top always points to the nearest gem, and the radar shows everything around you. Collect gems to unlock new worlds. Your progress saves automatically on this device.

Computer

• W A S D or arrow keys to move, Space jump, Shift sprint
• Click and drag to spin the camera 360 around Coburn. Scroll, or pinch your trackpad, to zoom. Q E rotate, V switches first and third person
• M worlds menu, H back to Basecamp, C chat with Coburn
• Game controllers work too: left stick moves, right stick looks, A jumps

Phone, tablet and touchscreen

• Touch and drag on the left side to walk, drag on the right side to spin the camera, pinch with two fingers to zoom. Touchscreen laptops work the same way.
• Tap JUMP to jump and RUN to toggle sprinting. Landscape gives you the biggest view.

VR headset

• Open this site in your headset browser (Meta Quest works great) and tap Enter VR
• Left stick walks where you look, right stick snap-turns, A or trigger jumps, grip sprints
• Clear a safe space around you and take breaks. Keep the comfort vignette on if you feel woozy.

The worlds

• Whispering Wildwood: a golden forest with a hidden lake, deer, foxes, stags and curious wolves
• Emberhold Village: a sunset medieval town with an inn, windmill, market square and bonfires
• Dino Canyon: red rock cliffs, a jungle river, a smoking volcano and real dinosaurs
• Glowshroom Hollow: a neon night valley of giant glowing mushrooms and bounce pads
• Frostfang Peaks: snowy mountains under the northern lights, a frozen lake and friendly yetis
• Skyreach Islands: floating islands above a sea of clouds with sky-high launch pads
• Star Rover Moon: a low-gravity moon base under a giant planet, with patrol drones and a huge mech

Questions

Is Virtual Reality Adventure free to play?
Yes. It runs free in your web browser, so there is nothing to download or install. It works in current versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox.

Do I need a VR headset?
No. You can explore all seven worlds on a phone, tablet or computer. If you have a headset, open the site in its browser, such as the Meta Quest Browser, and tap Enter VR.

What is WebXR?
WebXR is the web standard that lets a browser connect to a VR or AR headset. It is why this same web page can run on a laptop or phone and then switch into full virtual reality in a headset browser, with no app store install.

How can I stay comfortable in VR?
Play in short sessions, take breaks and clear a safe space around you. Snap turning and the VR comfort vignette in Settings can help if you feel woozy. If you feel dizzy or sick, take the headset off and rest until you feel normal again.

Does the game save my progress?
Yes. Your gems, relics and unlocked worlds save automatically in your browser on the device you play on.
